''Use service duration for booking a time slot'' option for backend and frontend#596

Let customers pick a time slot that is set as the service duration , but let employees/admin choose what time in the backend without the service duration.

Now if you set this option ‘on’, you as an employee can only book in slots of an hour (when the service is 1 hour), so you can’t book at times like 9:30, 10:30 etc.

But if you turn it off, customers can book appointment at any time in the frontend, without considering the service duration. This means someone can book at 9:45 at days i start at 9:30, which means i have to wait 15 minutes for them and have 1 spot less to book that day.

I believe this is already built in.

You need to go to Settings > General
Change the default time slot to 15min
Make sure “Use service duration for booking a time slot” is disabled.

Then your needs should be met as you can see by the screenshots available at the following link:

You can see I have an existing booking at 6:45am but future bookings (frontend and backend) have this time unavailable.

Please Note: The employee work hours are set to 06:00 - 18:00
