Add event templates#5003

Hi Amelia Team,

I’d like to suggest adding an “Event Template” feature for businesses that run repeatable classes but do not always schedule them on a fixed recurring pattern.

At the moment, recurring events are useful for classes that run daily, weekly, monthly or yearly on a set schedule. However, many businesses run the same type of event regularly, but at different times, dates, coaches or locations.

For example, we may run a “Bunker Class” at different venues, with different coaches, and on different dates depending on availability. The event details — description, capacity, price, duration, category and general structure — stay the same, but the date, time, location and coach may change.

It would be extremely useful to be able to create an event from a saved template, or duplicate an existing event, then simply adjust the date, time, coach and location.

A bulk creation option would also be helpful, allowing admins to create multiple event instances at once from the same template.

Suggested features:

• Save an event as a reusable template
• Bulk create multiple event dates from one template
• Quickly adjust coach, location, date and time for each event
• Keep capacity, price, description and category pre-filled and locked to certain employment tiers

This would make Amelia much more practical for businesses running classes, clinics, group sessions and multi-location programmes where events are repeatable, but not always strictly recurring.
