When a customer purchases a package, Amelia currently requires them to select which services from the package they would like to add sessions for before proceeding to checkout.
For many businesses, this step is unnecessary and adds friction to the purchasing process.
Customers often purchase a package first and decide which sessions to attend later. Requiring additional selections before payment increases the number of screens, clicks and decisions within the checkout flow.
Benefits:
• Reduces checkout friction.
• Decreases the number of clicks required to complete a purchase.
• Creates a faster checkout experience.
• May improve package conversion rates.
• Reduces customer confusion.
• Allows customers to purchase first and book later using their package credits.
Example:
A customer purchases a 10 Class Pack. Instead of being asked to select services immediately, they proceed directly to checkout. After purchase, they can use their credits to book eligible classes whenever they wish.
Optional:
• Add a package setting called “Skip service selection after purchase”.
• Allow administrators to enable or disable this behaviour for individual packages.
