Calendar Insight Icons#4893

We had an idea. With Amelia 9.0, the calendar area has become great, but there are ways to make it even better. The calendar is perfect for planning the day in general, but it doesn’t include any insights. Adding icons that display some key metrics could be really useful. Specifically: new client (added by staff), new client (booked via website), recurring appointment icon, reminder sent icon, and appointment confirmed icon (yes, this feature doesn’t exist yet, but it would be nice if when a staff member creates an appointment, the client could also confirm it).

These are important metrics when checking the calendar mid-day. Is the person new? If so, an initial briefing will be done during the therapy session. Was a reminder sent to the person? If not (in case of an error), they can be contacted. If the person has a recurring appointment, plans can be made accordingly. The recurring appointment date could even be displayed when hovering over it with the cursor. And yes, there’s currently no option to get client confirmation when a staff member creates an appointment, but it would be great to have.
