We updated one of the two installations to the new version of Amelia.

We tested it with a small setup involving three services. The day view is not convenient at all—it has made it slower and less intuitive to manage and see what’s scheduled during the day. The icons at the top, which were useful for selecting services, have now disappeared.

We understand the purpose of the update, but the current Calendar day view is truly unusable. The operator managing the installation with three services has stopped using it and now prefers the Booking view instead. As for the main installation, we have not updated it because the operator found the new version uncomfortable and less efficient for daily operations.

We sincerely hope you can improve this or at least provide the option to choose between the two views.

Just wanted to flag a couple of things that might help with your workflow:

• You can use the Filters panel on the calendar to select specific services, events, employees, or locations - so you only see what’s relevant for the day.
• In the Day view, you can also switch between the classic view and the “By employees” view, which displays each employee in their own column for a clearer overview.

Hope this makes the experience a bit more manageable. That said, we’ve noted your feedback and will keep usability improvements in mind for future updates!
